Since the early stages of my career I have always been in charge of different programs, from national research projects to the deployment of a high volume of devices. In order to manage these programs I use a variety of tools such as MS Project from Microsoft, Basecamp, Workzone and Clickup among others. With this experience I have developed tools to create my own project management strategy. That strategy can be seen in SIPEICEnet and the Operating Manual at the end of this document.

During several deployments over my career I have developed experience managing IT Staff for the deployment and maintainance of services.

I also have experience managing several technical staff members for building new solutions or managing services with profesional staff like Teachers, Managers, Administrators, and Health Administrators like Psychians, Psychiatrics, Neurologist and BCBA staff members.

Online Therapy System designed,built and maintained through its lifecycle for 5 years. PTL software.

I designed, developed, and maintained The Online Therapy System for the National Autonomous University of Mexico so students from the Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral programs could be trained in giving help to other students . The system allowed users to have online sessions using video cameras and allowed for the creation of clinical files. It was also designed to give feedback and follow up to professionals in order to create a collaborative approach to assist the students.

Most of the software solutions that I have developed have also been built for portable devices such as tablets, cellphones, and other mobile devices. I have designed several solutions using portable databases for tracking data for teachers during their lesson plans. During my time at Schools for Children, I have enforced the use of FileMaker on tablets and smartphones.

Use of Google Platform to create an Interactive Operating Manual for Teachers and Administrators of Schools for Children.

MICAS(May Institute Clinical Administration Software) was designed as a database solution for the Administration and management of all the Educational and Clinical strategies of the entire company. This software is able to manage Incident Report Systems, help in the development of IEPs and STOs, Curriculum design, Online training, and solutions for ABA graphs. In 2016 I developed an interactive model using Google Platform to create the Schools for Children Operating Manual, which manages the administration of the school.

I developed communication devices on portable computers, tablets, and cell phones using multimedia solutions and text to speech technology. These devices are now considered augmentative and alternative communication devices (AAC).

Example of SIPEICE in it's VPN version to manage clinical and behavioral interventions.

Incident Report System integrated with Google Sites for the implementation of Emergency procedures in the classroom.

SIPEICE is a software I designed that runs on a client version and VPN solution. I created it to manage all the Clinical and Behavioral Interventions needed for Neuro-Behavioral rehabilitation of kids with brain injuries. The system manages the files of clients, including Intakes, Interviews, Clinical History, Neuro, Psychiatry, and/or Psychological evaluations, helping in the development of treatment and graphs for the follow-up. In 2016 I developed the Incident Report System using Google strategies in order to create a webform to report emergency procedures in the classroom.

Example of a virtual environment to teach computer skills such as filling, clicking and typing to students with developmental disabilities. Example of a virtual puzzle to train right-left discrimination to students with developmental disabilities.

I have developed education software for the purposes of educating and rehabilitating kids with autism and brain injuries. The software uses multimedia and record-keeping for research purposes.

Example of a Cashier System that was developed with communication capabilities for users with developmental disabilities to help them train and work as cashiers at a convenience store.

I have designed and implemented software like POS systems, cashier software, a real-time capture database, and virtual environments among others in order to teach vocational skills to kids with mental disabilities.

I have used several languages for automation processes like vbscripts,apple scripts, autohotkey,shell scripting, etc. I have create executable to run specific scripts as GPO and using task manager.

Many processes in the support and maintenance areas require scripting. Being well versed in many programming languages such as PHP, terminal, c for cmd, AutoHotkey, javascript, VBS, among others, I have set up automation in these areas. I developed a GUI for remote backups, updates, and other tasks.

Using diagrams and different technologies like VPN, WAN, HTTP and other protocols, we developed live website diagrams for the management of networks. Deployment of 163 aerohive access points and managing collision strategy to keep the systems in working condition. Scripts developed to make the analysis and verified with heat maps. Deployment and maintenance of wireless access points to wide open facilities like football courts and tracks.

I have participated in network design and wireless infrastructure implementation; during those projects.

I had deployed firewalls, modems, access points, managed and unmanaged switches, extenders, and boosters. I have experience managing network protocols such as IrDA, Infrared (Layer 1); ARP, VLAN, IEE 802 WiFi, L2TP for VPNs, PPPoE for the network (Layer 2); IP, IPSEC for encrypted connections (Layer 3); TCP, UDP (firewall side to allow traffic); SMB for files (Layer 5); FTP, SSL, AFP, SSH (Layer6); DHCP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, POP3, SMTP, IMAP (layer 7).

In 2019 I had been devoting time to developing a system to manage networks in order to maintain and keep an inventory of the systems. Using Google Sites, Lucidcharts and MS Visio, I created a system where we can see the topography of networks and manage them with live links that connect with devices. Using VPN and Firewalls, we can control different devices from a website operating in the WAN of the organization. I have experience with terminal, putty, network scanners and use them in order to manage the systems and access them directly.

I have completed cabling installation for the network, phones (landlines), IP devices like video cameras, and central power configurations. In 2018, I had been working with Schools for Children to restructure their school's programs for their VOIP, wireless, and LAN network cabling, upgrading from CAT 5 to CAT 6.

I have extensive experience in planning, designing, and installing DVR systems, server management, and maintenance. I have used the systems to do forensics, video training, and create multimedia libraries. During Covid-19 we had to use IP cameras to monitor rooms with students infected that were transitioning home and need an isolated room to stay.

E-Time Device for Attendance and Payroll process.

I have experience installing, setting up, programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting e-time devices and payroll software reporting.

Mobile deployment using chargers and containers.

I am experienced in deploying a high volume of a wide range of mobile devices, from iPhones, Android phones, and iPads, among other such devices using Configurator iTunes and Volume Purchasing Programs. I provide support to some locations internationally and manage an environment of almost 300 devices. At Holbrook School District, I developed their MDM solutions for Chromebooks, iPads, portable PCs, and Macs using School Manager and FileWave. For the Chromebook deployment, we use Google console and manage 1800 devices remotely.

I have experience deploying a 1:1 mobile device initiative of Chromebooks and iPads for the Holbrook School District. My department and I deployed 1800 devices and manage them remotely through an MDM solution. I also give remote support to parents and students as well as generating the AUP(Acceptable Use Policies) and the RUP (Responsible Use Policies) for the 1:1 Mobile Device program.

Virtualization using VMware and Hyper-V.

I have experience deploying and maintaining virtualization environments using VMware and Hyper-V. I am also experienced in deploying DC1, DNS, DHCP, Printer servers, File servers, backup servers, and IIS services.

Setup printers and copier with printer servers and setup smpt and scanner services.

I have deployed and maintained several printers on the network for local and network usage. I have also deployed cloud printer solutions, airprinting, and bonjour capabilities on the network. I have also set up shares to scan directly to folders and manage emails for distribution. I have experience deploying fax capabilities on copiers, and local all in one printers have been developed.

Setup printer managers like papercut. services.

I have deployed and maintain printer managers like papercut in order to control the printing volume, restrict access, manage BW and color printouts, set up groups of users, place readers for keycard access, and create reports for ink and paper consumptions.

I have built, managed, and maintained servers, like Windows 2016, Windows 2019, MacServer OS, and Linux Based servers. I also have extensive experience managing Security, Group Policy, setting file servers, web servers, SSL certifications, application servers, printer servers, and multimedia servers for several organizations.

We have deploy the Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) to keep up with all the updates for windows and I use MDM as a substitution of this service to keep up with the maitenance of the equipment.

As the head of a consulting company that works internationally, I have made many efforts to use different tools in order to help companies achieve their missions. In the Educational and Clinical field, social forums are essential. I have been able to set, maintain, and contribute with written articles to some of these forums. Here is an example. At Schools for Children, I have been the primary administrator for web development using Drupal and WordPress sites. For Holbrook School District I redesigned their website.

Set up Youtube, Vimeo and slide show channels for different solutions.

I have set up several e-commerce tools. Youtube is a tool I have used to set up promotional campaigns and training repositories. Here is an example . I have also used radio programming. I have used other tools like Vimeo, flash, and slideshows to make repositories for training and showcases.

I have specialized in how to transfer VPN or client-based solutions to Web-based solutions. Many of the systems proposed are based on creating Database Manager Systems with flat file management, but also I have deployed MySql environments. In 2016, I was able to design an enterprise solution for Schools for Children in order to centralize all their management for the schools around the Boston area.

During my career, the development and design of databases have been one of the central parts of my day to day job. I have designed different databases that are web-based for schools and clinical settings. This development uses various strategies to create organizational tools for teachers to help them build IEPs, STOs, Lesson Plans, electronic exercises, curriculum development, Self Instructional tools, among other implementations.

Filezilla to implement FTP.

I have deployed FTP solutions like Filezilla in order to communicate with different web-based databases. I have also implemented FTP features on MAC servers, PC servers, and virtual machines.

Content Management Systems (CMS).

I have deployed, managed, and maintained different content management systems. Among those systems are WordPress, Drupal, SchoolPointe. I also designed one that is embedded in SIPEICEnet, which users of the database can use to manage their website. I have gained proficiency in HTML, PHP, Javascript, among other languages, through my many years of experience.

Web Marketing.

I have deployed and managed different tools for marketing, like ConstantContact. I also deployed Google Analytics and Google MyBusiness. I have experience using coding to get measures of visitors on different websites I created and I have experience developing reports for the managers.

I have created several Database Management Systems for professionals in order to save and retrieve data that is needed for their daily operations. One standing product that I made was the creation of a database that contains worksheets for students that are receiving rehabilitation services.

Restoring devices on the fly is essential in any organization that uses technology. I have deployed different solutions, such as creating images with clonezilla, Ghost Suite and Macrium. I have a wealth of experience in creating repositories on the network to boot computers and devices in order to restore OS. I have also deployed NAS devices to save information either for backup or restoration. I have experience deploying unitrend for the virtualization environment and GoodSync file synchronization.

Strategy to build shares on servers and on the cloud.

I have built strategies to enable sharing that follows the security guidelines established by the organization. Essentially I create a group of staff members that allows for the sharing of documents in a safe way.

I use cloud systems as I can integrate them into the IT department's service model, and we encourage users to implement them as a factor to strengthen the organization. I have used Google Docs, Adobe Cloud solutions, ITTF cloud systems, backup services, among others.

Google Console.

I manage the Google Console to admin all aspects of the Google Education Enterprise. I manage OU, deployment of apps, email, manage Chromebooks, set up groups, create scripts to synchronize with SIS, manage security, create Google Sites, manage DNS, and much more.

I use different cloud services to facilitate collaboration among users. In Holbrook, I deployed Microsoft Office 365 as a project to help teachers and students have the experience of working with these tools to mimic more realistic environments once the students look for jobs.

Documents of the Strategy and Policies for the IT management for Executive Councils. Different documentation provided for the business continuity plan.

The development of documentation of sites has been a powerful and invaluable skill I have developed through the years. I have created repositories for documents where all the documentation of the site is available to the IT Support team. This repository contains the strategy for maintenance, standard configurations, agreements, back up plans, schedules, checklists, recovery and disaster plans, security plans, and confidentiality procedures. I have also built other types of repositories for documentation tracking, which helps the Executive Council, Leadership Teams, Security committees, and other Admin groups. These documents are secured and shared, and reviewed in meetings.

I have developed, written, and reviewed security policies for the site, as well as backup and recovery policies. In some companies, I ran disaster recovery drills.

During my professional life, I have written Policy and Procedure Manuals as a consultant for many profit and non-profit companies, and also for companies where I have been the founder or co-founder.

I have experience creating tutorials, online training, supervision, and remote support. I have used all these in all the organizations I have supervised. I have developed several repertoires on web-based environments or the cloud using specific tools and APIs (Application Programing Interface) to help train personnel.

I deployed mobile and fixed SMARTboard solutions. I have also set up portable computers primarily with software and resources from the network to empower teachers for a better display of lesson plans. I also set up several repositories with interactive tools for the curriculum.

I manage troubleshooting with research and having hands-on technological practice. I have developed a unique set of skills to help and support users with their problems, bringing up solutions and teaching users how to use the technology they have. I also think that troubleshooting should come with teaching and the transfer of knowledge, and along those lines, I am extremely good at building tutorials, white papers, video modeling strategies, scripting, and remote tools for support. I have created online services when I developed tools for training and support. As a consultant, I deliver IT solutions online using a system of my own design.

I have been the person responsible for budgeting and creating strategic planning for IT projects at a non-profit organization. I have written research projects and have been approved by private companies and for government funds. As the CEO and Honorary President of a non-profit organization, I have presented several reports to different government agencies and institutions.

Budget planning, scripting and automatization. Life cycle Management tools.

As an IT Director in charge of the IT departments in two separate areas, I am responsible for building the budget for both a non-profit and a school district. I have approached the process a number of different ways and have created several automatization systems to assist in the process. The automatizations have helped in obtaining quotes, contacting providers, assessing and testing solutions, presenting budgets, creating capital budgets, and creating plans for devices’ lifecycle management.

I have implemented systems for tracking expenses, accounts systems, and payroll. I have experience in Quickbooks, Softright, and CDS. I have designed code for the automatization of Budget reports and project management for grants.

E-Rate, bids and manage category 1 and category 2 projects.

I manage projects for E-Rates as an IT Director. I am also responsible for planning and creating projects for category 1 on telecommunications for the internet and voice services, as well as for category 2 firewalls, access points, cabling, and switches were tested, purchased, and deployed.

Using Virtual Model System to test Ticket System.

Many different solutions have been introduced to different companies in order to facilitate and improve their services, improve performance, and investigate solutions. I have implemented monitor systems, database reports strategies, modeling, virtual environments and generated several scripting or software solutions for clinical and educational settings. Other things I have developed solutions for are finance, organizational management, research, fundraising, and Business Strategy.

Breaches on security, investigations on log systems.

I have performed types of forensics analysis, investigations, and detection procedures. I have used video surveillance systems, researched on logs, monitor websites for intrusion, and have implemented scripting to help with database breaches.

I have participated in Quality Improvement solutions based on an assessment of the current programs. The solutions are documented, baselines are recorded, and followup maintenance is done to check the effectiveness of the solutions.

Scripts to add tickets from emails.

I have implemented Ticket Systems like Spiceworks in order to manage several helpdesk. Using the systems, I have been able to make reports and analyze data to assess performance. I have also implemented strategies to support the ticket system with chats and VOIP solutions. I have experience developing ticket systems using Google spreadsheets, comments, hangouts, and forms. I have also created scripts that are used when users do not follow the protocol of creating tickets and the scripts automate the process.

PDQ Deploy and Inventory systems. GoBox device for massive deployment of chromebooks. Implementation of scripting for massive deployment.

I have deployed and manage PDQ Inventories and PDQ Deployment. These tools were used to manage all the PC labs and the portable equipment on the premises. I developed scripts to manage group policies and other cmd oriented commands to help the administration of the equipment. These systems were also used in the deployment of online testing with the MCAS and WIDA. I implemented and scripted devices like the GoBox to deploy a high volume of Chromebooks.

I set up and manage Remote Desktop Tools in order to allow other technicians and I access to manage equipment remotely and on-site. I set up cloud managers for these tools. Some examples of them are TeamViewer, GoTo Assist, and Meraki MDM. These systems meant that when the Coronavirus Pandemic hit, my systems were already set to be managed off-site and at home, meaning the school district jumped into online classes and an online environment faster than most others.

First Class Email Management and Support. Google Admin Console for Gmail.

I have experience with different email systems from deployment to supporting end-users. I have implemented First Class, Exchange, Endora, and Google Gmail Education. I was involved in setting up a group of collaborative tools, messaging, IP solutions, and several scripting procedures to enhance products and procedures for different organizations.

I deployed, manage, and maintain different Mobile Device Management systems, including Dell Kace, Filewave, and Meraki MDM. These solutions had to be deployed with servers on the premises or on the cloud. For all of them, I developed the development of the patch system, updated software, pushed new applications, managed clusters, and created groups of management for other IT members. I also created scripting to facilitate imports and exports for the management and report features. These solutions were designed to manage PC, iOS, and OS systems, both desktop and mobile devices.

Create repositories and remote access so providers can access internal systems.

I designed, deployed, and created environments and repositories, so external providers and outsourcing resources could access internal systems securely and with the proper tools to be as fast and independent as possible in order to respond to emergencies or maintenance tasks. I deployed Teamviewer access and VPN technologies to be used in this task. All the documentation associated with the tasks that the providers must perform are built in an internal website that only providers have access to through google sites. This allows them to review and have the information they need to provide support.

Designed different types of workbenches for IT repairs and support.

I designed, deployed, and created different types of workbenches to facilitate repairs.

Hardware Maintenance.

I manage the services given to laptops, desktops, either PC or MAC, as well as iPads, iPhones, and Chromebooks. I am experienced in changing memory, HDD, CD-DVD drives, motherboards, and troubleshoot hardware problems. I have built computers for special projects. I designed the architecture and chose the components, as well as changing components. I am also versed in troubleshooting hardware problems on servers, either MAC or PC.

Design of Curriculum.

I am the author and co-author of curriculum design for special education schools, offering services to students with Brain Injuries and developmental disabilities. The applications I designed have been used in Universities and non-profit organizations to train professionals on how to use these implementations. I set up several repositories, file servers, and web servers, so the curriculum is available online to create Individualized Education Plans.

Using Avatars to help on educational solutions and training development.

I have used animation, avatars, and video modeling techniques to create multimedia content in order to develop training materials. I have participated on TV and radio programs where such tools were used to disseminate research and share procedures on protocols to the community. Here is an example.

Library Deployment with 10 computers, a multimedia center and a database system. Teacher Planning rooms with network connections, printer server solutions and central scanner devices.

I have experience setting up different departments around schools like libraries, teacher planning rooms, file servers for curriculum, and other types of unique projects. I have designed, deployed, and maintained the projects as well.

Language Lab deployments.

I have deployed language labs using Smart Class, which allows a teacher to manage a computer lab, along with it’s digital, visual, and audio content. The system is capable of giving feedback to students on the way they speak to help shape their pronunciations and interactions with other students, even in different countries. I integrated this system with the Light Directory Access Protocol (LDAP), which allows for the adding of students as onboarding is happening.

Robotics Lab.

I have deployed a robotics lab with 3D printers and 3D scanners. I also deployed an AutoCAD and set up a network for the teacher to manage the computers and distribute content to the students.

Aspen X2 system and management. Aspen X2 system and DESE report.

I have experience using data managers and all Aspen aspects. I am responsible for the State Reporting to DESE for SIMS, SSDR, SCS, EPIMS. I also am knowledgeable in changing databases, scripting, developing reports, and creating a support system to use the database. I also have created an external scripting system to help with all duties related to the data management.

Single Sign On like Clever.

I have experience deploying Single Sign On for students and staff like Clever. I can link the system to SIS, and I have developed scripting and FTP solutions to update rosters automatically. I created a strategy to get other databases linked like Edmentim that I have deployed and maintained.

Remote Learning Systems.

I have deployed and maintained different systems in order to help remote learning during the COVID-19 crisis. I deployed Elite, Study Island, Exact Path, Unique Learning Ny2, and support systems on the web and maintained their databases. I was also able to offer remote support to families that participated in the 1:1 program at the Holbrook School Districts.

Especial Education System Management.

I deployed and maintained The STAR System also known as ESPED for the management of IEP, EL, 504, and Medicaid information. I created a support system and database imports and exports to keep the information synchronized between external databases, SIS, and State Reports.

State Assessments WIDA. State Assessments MCAS.

I have deployed, maintain, and support WIDA and MCAS assessments. I have built servers for the assessment and set up of computer labs and Chromebooks with TestNav. I also created all the repositories and plans for the testing, and have supported teachers during the process.

Google Classroom and SIPEICE LMS. Create a repository for Professional Development using Google Classroom.

I have deployed, maintain, and support a repository with video, quizzes, presentations, forms, and a system to follow up teachers’ efforts to use our internal online resources to get Personal Development opportunities. I have implemented a screen recording system in a portable computer for the curriculum director that was deployed in order to create content for teachers.

Distance Learning Facilities and Support for Remote Conferences. Auditorium for remote conferencing, town meetings and professional development.

I have set up different distance learning facilities with podiums, audio systems, video systems, projectors, and teleconference devices. I have given support and am experienced in setting up conferences with GoTo meetings, TeamViewer, Webex, and Zoom. Many of the assistance in building these scenarios have been focused on training and dissemination of clinical and educational research.

Design, Implementation, Management and Support of mobile tech labs.

I have designed, implemented, managed, and supported a unique type of tech lab. The labs were designed to be mobile so that they could be deployed in hours and moved into other locations as needed. The labs were geared towards schools and clinical facilities, and the complexity of the services they provide vary from project to project.

IP Camera solutions for research and educational purposes.

I have implemented different solutions using IP cameras and portable monitors in order to do research or create video catalogs that I use later to build educational training materials.

Student Health Records Online (SNAP).

I maintain the database for all the health records for the school district. I created automatic uploads for pictures and onboarding students. I also troubleshoot connections and integrated SNAP with SIS systems.

Proloquo.

I have set up an MDM solution to manage the Proloquo communication board environment to facilitate the iPad's management in remote learning.

Skype deployment for online services. Viber and Whatsapp deployment for IT teams.

I have used different communication applications for massive deployments for staff members and IT Teams to allow them to create groups to facilitate communication using text and multimedia messages. Some of the applications include Skype, Whatsapp, and Viber.

System developed to ask for help while behavioural crises are taking place.

I have a vested personal interest in experimenting with new technologies in order to help projects fulfill their mission. I have developed several prototypes, such as electronic designs, software, and infrastructure solutions. These projects have used wireless access points and a transmitter that pinpoints the locations of signals and sends a warning signal through phone systems and computers. This prototype was used to help staff members safely deliver clinical and educational interventions for students with developmental disabilities.

The communication boards I designed help with communication training so students can use the devices in order to maximize their opportunities at schools, vocational, and community settings.

Many projects that I have worked on were meant to build educational and clinical services for users with special needs and the people tasked with caring for them. Due to the student’s disabilities, teachers and clinicians experience emergencies that need communication solutions to keep them safe. This development was designed in order to use walkie talkies connected with an interface that allows the use of skype to let clinicians give feedback to teachers working at residential services.

Auditorium.

I have deployed and manage laser projectors, soundboards, and lighting boards. I have experience in the maintenance of all equipment for the Auditorium and Cafes, including asymmetric and Extron systems, audio, video, and microphone racks. I have set up face to face and remote conferences using Zoom, Google Meet, and Hangouts, for School Committee, and Town presentations. I am also responsible for training staff and creating tutorials and documentation for the operations of these tools.

Multimedia Centers.

I managed and deployed carts for iPad and Chromebooks, collar microphones with speed lighting multimedia speakers, and wireless multimedia consoles. I also maintain and update software and database to manage the library inventory and digital content.

Accessories for Network Projectors like document cameras, multimedia boxes and collar mics. Network Projectors with wireless connectivity for wireless projection.

I deployed, maintain, and managed network projectors and smartboards for teachers and administrators to use them with document cameras and audio consoles for onsite and remote learning.

TV Studio.

I coordinated efforts to maintain and operate the network that provides services offered by HCam, the TV studio of the Holbrook School District, to use the TV studio to teach students the different duties on TV production and post-production. I also maintain the Mantis encoders and the Discovery Server and Streaming Engine.

IP TV systems.

I deployed, maintain, and manage IP TV with Discovery in order to generate signage for all the schools using Intel sticks. I created the central repositories to save presentations and other multimedia materials to distribute them to all the systems. I developed the training and the support documents for the users so they know how to post their content to the system.

Signage with Daktronics.

I maintain and create content for the main board of the school system. I manage the playlists for different programs and I coordinate with the town in order to display their messages. I developed an organized system to separate for the needs of the TV studio and private channel for the town.

Maintain audio systems for open spaces like gyms, track and football fields.

I maintain different audio systems that are located in open spaces like our football field, exterior PA systems, and track fields.

Surveillance System.

I deploy, manage, and maintain S2 surveillance systems. I replace cameras, rewired connections, setup VLANs on switches, and perform maintenance of the DVR server, configure the system, generate reports, and manage forensics.

Access Control.

I maintain and manage S2 access control systems, door strikes, access cards, and their readers. I create the documentation of the site, manage the access, and create scripts to add users automatically, and set up their schedules depending on their security assignments from the leadership committee. I also generate reports for forensic analysis.

Alarm Systems.

I manage the alarm system and give maintenance to all the card readers and the alarm controllers. I write scripts to provide access to onboarding staff members automatically added under the guidelines given to me by the leadership team.

Evacuation Plans.

I work with the police departments and leadership committee in order to generate evacuation plans, post them in public areas, develop the repositories to contain the plans for distribution, design the graphics in different systems, along with creating the support for ALICE training.

Allworx Systems.

I perform maintenance and manage the Allowrx system using IP Phones in a WAN connecting several schools. I developed the strategy for the deployment and supervised the implementation, while creating tutorials for training and the repository for all the documentation. I also developed a system where the administration keeps the management documentation available for all the schools.

Avaya Systems.

I manage all the phone systems for the school in three different locations with a VPN and a T1 connection. I built the documentation to prepare for the migration of a new system. I added extensions, modified voicemail, routed main calls, while managing the IP Phones on the network.

NEC Systems.

I manage all of the phone system features, voicemail systems, and I am responsible for programming the NEC server and the IP Phones. I deployed the units and created the scripting to deploy new users with new extensions. I made the repository for all the documentation, like the floor plans with the locations of each handset and the internal website to share extension numbers.

Toshiba Systems.

I assist with the configuration of the Toshiba system and extensions by wiring patch panels, managing the central console, and maintaining the voice mail system.

Blackboard.

I manage the communication systems for the school district with Blackboard. I handle the updates and automatization with the SIS system, so all students, staff, and parents are contacted through robocalls and automated text messages,and emails. We managed an automatization system so that onboarding will add all the information required for the people whether they be students, staff, or parents. This account management protocols have been expanded to create scripts that interact with Active Directory and Open Directory.

POS Documentation. POS system.

I deployed, maintain, and manage the POS systems (Point of Sale) from the Heartland for food services. I have deployed the database on portable laptops, set up the keypad and bar code readers, and maintain the database on the cloud. I wrote scripts that were designed in order to add new students. I also made configurations to the SIS system so the counts of lunches can be exported. I also developed a script so the SIS system can send out the fee and reduce counts to the main SIS system.

Interactive Scopes.

I have developed a system to create scopes for new projects using templates. These are designed to facilitate the writing of the scopes as well as to create all the staging objects, build budgets and creating matrices for the decision making.

Encelium system.

Compass system management.

This system manages all the climate control in the building, from the AC to the Heating system. I performed preventative maintenance and created troubleshooting procedures on the server for the system. I have created tutorials and support systems for the Building Manager to help them learn the system and monitor its performance. I implemented an SMTP for messaging and alerts sent directly to the department.

Hiring.

I deployed and maintain the services of SchoolSpring and Indeed for the hiring process. I created a repository to manage staff member applications and process the interviews during the hiring process.

Automatization of Onboarding procedures. Checklist generated in order to do the automatization of onboarding IT staff members among others.

I created a system where new staff members are detected on the SIS system. Then a script I wrote following the security protocols designated by the new staff’s position generates all the files for onboarding, along with pushing the data to different databases, creating access to all systems owned by the school district.

Assessment for Staff Performance.

I perform the maintenance of the database that contains the assessments for staff members in Teachpoint. I created a repository for the Curriculum Director to receive smart goals and linked the process with the SIS system in order to report it to the state.

Example of tools developed under web design and offered as cloud services.

I have experience supervising up to 50 employees, and as a consultant, I have supervised the creation and implementation of IT solutions for ten different companies. I developed a management tool known as SIPEICEnet, which contains calendars, notes, checklists, trainings, chats, video supervision, among other project management tools. Through the development of web cloud services, I have been able to remotely supervise different organizations' operations using technology.

SIPEICEnet.

SIPEICEnet is a system that I started developing in 1996, and after several alterations in 2011, I deployed the web version, since then it has been used for several schools and clinics to run their organizations.

This system operates in a web server and provides services to different locations in Mexico. The development contains modules to operate schools, clinics, and online educational-clinical services.

This is a complete solution that manages the vision, mission, and objectives of the organization. It has features for designing curriculums, IEPs, Student Assessments, LMS, and gives parents access to the records on the website.

It has modules for HR, PD, Finances, Food Services, and its administration feature helps with calendars, check lists, onboarding, access It has modules for HR, PD, Finances, Food Services, and it has administration features made to help with calendars, checklists, onboarding, access controls, and surveillance systems. It also contains features for managing social media, presentations, and e-commerce.

The main idea for SIPEICEnet is to have a single system that manages all the data needs of the programs. It assists in sharing, and structuring security access to follow the policies and procedures of the organization that is implementing the solution.

Operation Manual Model Using a Gantt Chart to follow the strategy based on the schedule, guided by links of checklists to follow procedures in order to ensure objectives are reached in a timer fashion. Using the Scripting server to upload the information of the SIS so data can be read and generate code so it can be used within other systems. Example, when new students are detected by SIS and on the TimeLine is schedule to do the process and follow the task list, which will take the user to connect the data from the SIS and uploaded into the scripting server which will generate the code, in this example the code to create server accounts. All data is being shared through the Operating Manual which is a Google Sites, where we can plug following the security strategy all data needed. This allows stakeholders to view the information that they are allowed to see, and modify it if their position allows them to do it. In this way the data is always shared and editions are ready once they save it.

The Operating Manual is a concept I extracted from SIPEICEnet. This concept creates an assessment of the mission, vision, objectives of an organization and lists all the systems that are used to carry out their objectives. This assessment builds the framework to create a system that allows the interoperability of all the different structures in order to create efficiency and repositories that can be used for all the organizations to ensure its stability and continuity.

This methodology uses the main database of the organization to feed all the data needed into a web server that uses scripts to generate data to be pushed to all the systems of the organization. This allows for the creation of a repository that connects the devices, the main website, and the internal documentation manager, so they all have consistency in the data, and it is managed through a Gantt Chart that allows the organization to manage the duties using checklists and tutorials of all the procedures described by the policies of the organization.

With this strategy, all stakeholders are feeding the system and changing its procedures in a way that can be implemented and inherited by new groups of the same job assignments or preserved when new stakeholders replace staff members. This strategy has been implemented in Holbrook Schools District and Schools for Children Inc during the last five years.

Since this implementation, the IT Teams in both organizations has not increased in size but has better management since the system pushes the ownership of the procedures to the staff members, helping them to work in an organized manner.
